Global ACE Preparatory Program

The Global ACE (Academic & Cultural Enhancement) program is designed as an elective preparatory pre-degree program for international undergraduate students who meet the minimum requirements for university admission but did not meet the criteria for the competitive fall freshman class. Students enrolled at USF via this alternative entry program benefit from enhanced academic and cultural support services, dedicated coaching and advising, and cohort-style coursework maps. Global ACE students complete a set of courses that prepare them for their degree-program in a supportive environment via the USF World Academic Programs and International Student Support teams in the Global Student Center.

Global ACE benefits:

    • Alternative admission entry option
    • Enhanced learning support and academic coaching
    • Easy adaptation/smooth transition for students to establish academic and cultural foundation before the undergraduate degree program
    • Courses apply to the intended major/degree program ensuring a seamless transition to university education

Global ACE students enroll in a full-time course load that is similar to the first semester of their intended degree program. Upon successful completion of the prescribed preparatory program, Global ACE students will be eligible to matriculate into a degree-seeking program of study.
