Social work assistant professor of instruction leads virtual workshop

Vickie Lynn

Lynn’s research focuses on implementation science, evidence-informed interventions, and health care delivery for people dual and multi diagnosed with HIV, mental health, and substance use disorders.

Vickie Lynn, PhD, MSW, MPH, assistant professor of instruction in the School of Social Work, led a workshop at the 4th Annual Career Institute hosted by North Carolina Central University's Career Counseling Program. Lynn and her colleagues presented "Integrating Educational and Vocational Objectives in Counseling People Living with HIV." The theme of the virtual event was "Addressing Career Counseling and Employment Needs: Prioritizing the Physical, Mental, and Economic Health and Well-Being of People Living with HIV."
