Dr. Vickie A. Lynn is the Chair of the Face-to-Face MSW Program at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ and Co-Editor of the Journal of HIV/AIDS and Social Services. She brings expertise in social work and public health to her roles as an educator, researcher, and practitioner. With more than ten years of teaching experience, Dr. Lynn emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and a cooperative learning environment. She plays a key role in Interprofessional Education Day at USF Health, where students from multiple health disciplines engage in collaborative learning to strengthen their teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Dr. Lynn’s teaching philosophy is shaped by her extensive professional experience,
focusing on preparing students for the dynamic landscape of healthcare. She highlights
the importance of integrated care and teamwork in professional practice, ensuring
students develop the necessary skills for effective collaboration in health and social
service settings.
Beyond her educational contributions, Dr. Lynn serves as Co-Editor of the Journal
of HIV/AIDS and Social Services, contributing to ongoing research and discourse on
healthcare delivery. Her work bridges education and research, advancing knowledge
in social work and public health while supporting the development of future professionals
in these fields.
