Diane Rifaie earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Science Disorders in Deaf Studies from the Â鶹ÊÓƵ in 2016, where she also had the honor of servicing as the vice president of ASL Bulls! Subsequently, she relocated to Knoxville, Tennessee, where she dedicated four years to advancing for both her education and professional experience at the School for the Deaf. This journey culminated in the attainment of her Master’s degree in American Sign Language Education from the University of Tennessee in 2023 and also becoming a licensed teacher the same year. She also worked as a Deaf Mentor for families with Deaf children to support language acquisition and provide exposure to Deaf Culture. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with friends to new places and immersing herself in new cultures and eating delicious food!
