Ansley Davis is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Prior to returning to the classroom, she worked in the public school system as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing school-age children and adolescents with speech and language intervention. Her primary research interests include social communication skills for school-age children and adolescents and improving language outcomes for individuals with a language disorder. Ansley’s goal is to contribute to the dissemination of evidence-based social communication interventions for practicing speech-language pathologists. Current projects include using eye-tracking methodology to assess how manipulation of semantic and pragmatic stimuli impacts sentence processing and collaboration with an education policy organization on a project combining AI, Literacy, and Special Education.
