The Ancient Diseases and Nutrition Working Group is an interdisciplinary network of researchers dedicated to reconstruction of ancient health, nutrition and living standards through historical, anthropogical, bio-archaeological and bio-molecular methods.

Caitlyn Coleman undergraduate student in Dr Andrea Vianello's team, has received the prestigious 2022 Barry M. Goldwater scholarship for her work on bioinformatics applied on bacteria and ancient pathogens.
