  • The Academic Success Center (ASC) provides centralized learning support. The ASC is comprised of three major sub-centers, the Tutoring Hub, SMART Lab, and the Writing Studio.

  • The Joint Military Leadership Center (JMLC), founded in 2004, plays a significant role in supporting the Army, Naval and Air Force ROTC programs at the University of South Florida.
  • The Student Support Services Program (SSS) is a federally funded retention program that provides effective academic and personal support for a diverse student population.
  • To provide a seamless transition for our nation's veterans from military life, through campus life into a meaningful career by providing high quality services and opportunities for academic success, personal growth, and professional development.

ROTC Programs
Air Force ROTC Army ROTC Navy ROTC
Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) is an in-college program that offers the opportunity to become a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force upon graduation. Army ROTC is an elective curriculum you can take in addition to your required college courses and concludes with becoming commissioned as an Officer in the Army.  The NROTC College Program provides a pathway for students to commission and earn a scholarship if they do not already have one. During their time in the program, college program midshipmen are expected to work towards earning a scholarship or advanced standing and their eventual commision in the United States Navy or Marine Corps.

Transition & Academic Growth
College Reach Out Program Office of Transfer Student Success Upward Bound Program
College Reach-Out Program (CROP) is a statewide pre-college program established in 1983 designed to increase the number of students who successfully enter and complete a postsecondary institution. The Office of Transfer Student Success provides a range of services to prospective, transitioning and current transfer students to ensure their experiences are smooth and efficient.  The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Upward Bound Program (UBP) is a TRIO college-access program funded by the United States Department of Education. The goal of UBP is to increase the rate at which participants complete secondary education and enroll in and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education.

Academic Enrichment Academic Programs Assessment Curriculum
 Academic Enrichment includes the Office of Summer Initiatives, Academic Exploration and supplemental programming aimed at Sophomore and other continuing students.  The mission of Undergraduate Studies (UGS) Academics is to empower students in educational transition for life-long success through individualized advising and meaningful academic experiences.  Assessment is a systematic and methodologically sound collection, review, and use of information about educational programs (and Student Support Services) undertaken to improve student learning and development.  The UGS Curriculum Team supports student success by providing quality assistance to faculty, staff, and administration for curricular changes, using technology and responsive processes to facilitate those changes.
