Allison Madden, Corporate Secretary and Chief Operating Officer of the USF Research Park, was recently elected to a second three-year term on the Board of Directors of the . She will also serve as vice president on the organization鈥檚 executive committee during the coming year, following a year of service as treasurer. Madden joins four other directors whose terms start January 1, 2024 on the 18-member board.
AURP, a 37-year, not-for-profit international member-driven organization with offices in Tucson, AZ at the University of Arizona Tech Park and in the Washington, DC area at the University of Maryland Discovery District, focuses on creating communities of innovation and education for research parks both operating and planned, plus innovation districts, regional tech hubs, incubators, accelerators and the businesses that support the research park industry. AURP and its membership promote research, institute-industry relations and innovation districts to foster innovation and to facilitate the transfer of technology from such institutions to the private sector.
