TAMPA, Fla. – The entire Tampa Bay region is invited to join Â鶹ÊÓƵ System students, faculty, staff and alumni for USF Week, beginning Monday, April 2. The annual tradition to celebrate USF Bulls pride and bring the community together will feature events on all three campuses, including a lecture and performance by award-winning actor/musician Leslie Odom, Jr. and a live concert with performances from X Ambassadors, We The Kings and Coin.

Chosen by the student-run University Lecture Series, Odom will appear at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3 (doors open at 7:30 p.m.) in the Marshall Student Center Ballroom. The event is free and open to the public, with priority seating for students. A limited number of seats will be reserved for the public on a first-come, first-served basis.

Odom made his Broadway debut at the age of 17 in Rent before heading to Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama, where he graduated with honors. He’s best known for his role as Aaron Burr in the blockbuster Broadway musical Hamilton, for which he won a Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical. He also won a 2015 Grammy Award as a principal soloist on Hamilton’s Original Broadway Cast Recording. In addition, Odom has appeared in several popular television series, including Law & Order: SVU, Grey’s Anatomy and CSI: Miami.

A spring semester tradition, Bullstock is a free rock concert featuring live performances from headliners X Ambassadors, We The Kings and Coin. Opening the show will be the winners of USF’s Battle of the Bands. The free concert is scheduled from 6 p.m. – midnight on Friday, April 6 in parking lot 22D of the USF Sun Dome.
