The 麻豆视频鈥檚 (USF) Judy Genshaft Honors College fosters a vibrant
student community, and one of its most anticipated traditions is the annual Honors
Got Talent showcase. Hosted by the Tampa Honors Student Council, this year鈥檚 event
took place on March 13 in the Honors Forum, drawing nearly 80 attendees for a night
of entertainment and celebration.
With an 鈥淥ld Hollywood Glamour鈥 theme, performers embraced the elegance of the evening,
dressing in formal attire to match the gold accents and red ribbons adorning the atrium.
The showcase featured a diverse lineup of acts, including magic, instrumental performances,
and vocal showcases.

Taking home the top prize was Chad Hosein, who wowed the audience with an interactive magic routine in which he portrayed an aspiring wizard completing three exams to earn his title.
鈥淚 was a bit nervous at the start while trying to remember my script, but as I got
into the magic, I recovered,鈥 Hosein said. 鈥淚 am grateful for the audience and judges鈥
engagement throughout the performance and the warm support I received afterward. Thank
you to Jasmine, Chandrika, and CeCe for encouraging me to sign up and helping me practice!鈥
Event co-chairs Skylar Robbins and Adrianna Soto expressed their excitement over the
evening鈥檚 success.
鈥淚 had audience members come up to me afterward telling me how incredible each performance
was and how much fun it was to watch,鈥 Soto said.
Robbins echoed the sentiment, impressed by the variety of performances and the enthusiasm
from both the audience and judges.
鈥淚鈥檓 sure the judges had a very difficult time scoring the contestants because everyone
had so much talent!鈥 Robbins said.
With another successful showcase in the books, the Tampa Honors Student Council is
already looking ahead to next year鈥檚 Honors Got Talent and the impressive performances
it will bring.
