For the fourth consecutive year, the USF Health College of Nursing’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program has been ranked No. 1 among Florida’s public universities by U.S. News & World Report. This year, the program also climbed to No. 23 nationally, continuing its upward momentum and solidifying its reputation as a leader in graduate nursing education.
This continued recognition is a testament to our trailblazing faculty, dedicated students, and valued clinical partners who remain steadfast in their commitment to nursing education. Our dedicated faculty and passionate students are preparing the next generation of nurse leaders and expanding access to exceptional, patient-centered care across Florida and beyond. The achievement reflects not only our strong academic reputation but also the impact we are making in practice and the community.

U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools ranked 148 MSN programs this year based on research activity, faculty resources, student excellence, post-graduate outcomes, and qualitative ratings derived from experts. Its statistical data collection survey was sent to nursing schools in late 2024 and early 2025. The MSN rankings include survey assessments from health care professionals as well as peers from academic institutions.
