College of Education’s online graduate programs climb 14 points in U.S. News rankings
The 鶹Ƶ (USF)’s College of Education was recognized nationally for its online graduate education programs, climbing to no. 55 in the 2020 released by U.S. News and World Report in January.
U.S. News and World Report evaluates several factors to rank the best online graduation education degree programs, including faculty credentials, graduation rates and student services and technologies. In 2019’s edition of the rankings list, the College of Education was ranked no. 69.
In the 2018-19 academic year, the College of Education developed 19 online courses, adding courses such as “Gender and the Educational Process,” “Technology for Leading and Learning” and “The History of Education in the US” to its expanding catalog of distance learning options.
“The USF College of Education has consistently invested in resources to support e-learning environments and faculty efforts towards online course development and the creation of fully-online programs and graduate certificates,” said Robert C. Knoeppel, Dean of the College of Education. “These efforts align with our goals of providing students with the skills needed to utilize emerging technologies and supporting collaborative, digitally-enhanced learning across all of our programs.”
