Despite the seemingly disparate array of jobs available, at their heart, they all have one thing in common: ensuring customer satisfaction. If you like supporting customers, here are some of the top jobs you may want to consider.

Account Coordinator

An maintains client accounts, typically at an advertising or marketing agency. They are often responsible for communicating with clients, reviewing and composing correspondence, receiving requests and complaints, liaising with internal sales and marketing teams, and managing account budgets.

Average Salary: $42,019 per year 

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is generally required along with experience at an advertising or marketing agency.

Benefits Coordinator

A is responsible for helping employees enroll in company benefit programs. Their duties include meeting with employees to discuss their benefit options, keeping detailed records of employee insurance information, and overseeing the enrollment process.

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is generally required along with some experience in human resources, finance, or business administration.

Call Center Representative

A takes calls from customers to answer questions or address any concerns they may have. Their duties include handling many inbound and outbound calls to and from customers, listening to customers’ needs or issues, and providing helpful solutions to their problems.

Client Relations Specialist

A is a mediator for the company and the client they're working with. They demonstrate expertise about the products and services the company and the client offer to solve complex problems. In addition, they gauge customer satisfaction levels to assess customer affinity for the company and its products and services.

Client Services Coordinator

are responsible for ensuring tasks are completed. They may handle order processing, setting up and coordinating services, tracking deliveries and installations, and resolving customer issues. This job requires solid phone skills and the ability to juggle several tasks simultaneously.

Concierge

are knowledgeable about hotels, restaurants, transportation, and any other information that that can facilitate and enhance the customer experience. Many hotels have concierges on staff who book reservations, suggest activities, and arrange transportation for guests. Virtual concierges do many of the same tasks, either on the phone or online through a messaging system or email.

Customer Service Manager

A is responsible for sustaining customer service standards for an organization. They're the main point-person for addressing all inquiries and can answer high-level questions. They're also accountable for training staff members to interact with clients effectively to increase the number of sales coming into the organization.

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is generally required along with several years of experience as a supervisor.

Flight Attendant

Passengers' safety and the flight deck's security are chief concerns. They assist passengers in emergencies, keeping them calm and safe. They also serve beverages, snacks, and sometimes meals. This career involves both security and hospitality and offers an opportunity for individuals who want to provide safety and service to people while seeing the world.

Member Services Specialist 

provide a high level of customer care to members. For example, you may be serving an elite credit card holder or a client of a bank or an insurance company. This job entails answering questions, providing services, and explaining benefits to members.

Patient Care Coordinator

can work at doctor's offices, hospitals, or medical centers and schedule appointments for patients in need of medical attention. They also work with patient insurance companies to preapprove them for medical or surgical procedures when necessary. Generally, they need to have a familiarity with medical vocabulary before they can work in this role.

Social Media Customer Care Specialist

A handles tweets and Facebook posts from dissatisfied customers. This role involves monitoring an organization’s social media accounts, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating problems to a manager when necessary.

Technical Support Representative 

help customers troubleshoot issues with a piece of equipment or software. Tech support is also responsible for installing equipment, maintaining records of customer interactions, and collaborating with others to improve the company’s system requirements.
