Jennifer Roth is an Assistant Instructor in the clinical social work program. She received her BA in Spanish and Psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder ('05) and her MSW from the Â鶹ÊÓƵ ('08).
Jennifer Roth is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with an expertise in trauma treatment and is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Jennifer practices using a holistic approach, considering the entire picture rather than focusing on a single problem. She utilizes a trauma-informed approach when working with individuals, families, and groups. Her teaching philosophy centers on generalist and clinical social work practice. Her specialized clinical skills allow her to provide students with a comprehensive approach to treating clients with a variety of presenting issues. Her goal is to help students become proficient and skilled social workers with transferable clinical skills to utilize in multiple settings.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, son and daughter. She especially loves trips to the beach and travel.
