USF Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) students Elizabeth Hile and Madison Wilde placed second in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) annual Student Ethics Competition. This competition encourages MFT students to deepen their understanding of ethical issues and sharpen their ability to address the challenges they are likely to face in their careers.
Teams of two to three master's, doctoral, and post-degree institute students participated by submitting an essay that analyzes and responds to a given hypothetical scenario by consulting the AAMFT code of ethics, relevant research, and colleagues.
