Aging studies research highlighted in Aging-US podcast episode

A from Aging-US covers recently published research by Monica E. Nelson, Ross Andel and Jakub Hort titled, In the study, the team examined the impact of cognitive reserve on cognitive resilience.

The concept of cognitive reserve suggests that certain factors, such as level of engagement in education, mental stimulation, and challenging activities, can create a buffer against cognitive decline. These factors also play a role in delaying the onset of cognitive impairment or dementia.
