Aging studies associate professor joins Dementia Palliative Care Clinical Trials Training Program

Debra Dobbs, PhD has research interests in palliative, hospice and end-of-life care, and palliative care education in assisted living.

Debra Dobbs, PhD, associate professor in the School of Aging Studies and academic director of the Center for Hospice, Palliative Care and End-of-Life Studies, was accepted to the 2022-2023 class of the Dementia Palliative Care Clinical Trials Training Program, which provides learners with a foundation in practical aspects involving the design and conduct of randomized clinical trials in dementia palliative care.

Throughout the course of 10 months, program participants will complete a series of webinars, small group sessions, and a five-day in-person institute. They will also design a trial and develop their own grant application addressing Alzheimer's disease or related dementias.
