Student Outcomes

Students graduating with a Ph.D. in Behavioral & Community Sciences will be able to:

• conduct research addressing the behavioral and socio-cultural factors that affect behavioral health and human development within the context of families and communities;
• evaluate systems and services serving at-risk populations with a focus on evidence-based practices and community-based solutions;
• design, implement, and evaluate interventions that influence positive behavioral outcomes;
• design and conduct community-based research that integrates behavioral, developmental, and implementation sciences;
• apply outcomes of research and program evaluation to policy development and systems change.
