Professor Baljinder Sekhon Receives an Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award

Professor Baljinder Sekhon, assistant professor of composition, is a recipient of
a 2017-2018 Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award.
The award, administered by the Office of the Provost, recognizes excellence, innovation,
and effectiveness in teaching in USF undergraduate programs.
Sekhon was honored at the Faculty Honors & Awards Reception on November 9th, 2017.
Sekhon's receipt of the award shows a commitment to preparing students for work in
the music composition major, as well as fostering foundational critical thinking and
problem-solving skills.
