Religious Studies welcomed Dr. Steven M. Vose for an overview of historical narratives on Jain-Muslim relations in India

The Department of Religious Studies welcomed Dr. Steven M. Vose, an assistant professor in the Department of History and holder of the Bhagwan Suparshvanatha Professorship in Jain Studies at the University of Colorado-Denver, for a discussion on 鈥淛ust as When Hindus Ruled: The Sultans of Delhi in Jain History and Memory.鈥

Dr. William Schanbacher

Congratulations to Will Schanbacher and the UFSG!

Project Director Will Schanbacher along with other USF faculty was awarded an NEH Humanities Connections grant titled, "Urban Food Sovereignty in the Humanities and Beyond" ($34,810), for a one-year project for collaboration between faculty, students, and community members on the design of new courses and experiential learning activities related to food studies.

Dr. Garrett Potts earns grant to develop a 鈥楲ife Worth Living鈥 hub at USF

Dr. Potts received in 2023 a grant from the Templeton Foundation and Yale Center for Faith and Culture to promote the 'Life Worth Living' pedagogy and coursework to advance pluralistic undergraduate education and overall student flourishing.
