RESEARCH
Research in the lab focuses on parasite ecology and evolution, and we also study the
taxonomy and systematics of malaria blood parasites.
Research on parasite ecology focuses on responses to anthropogenic disturbances, and variation of parasite communities across different environmental gradients (e.g., elevational, latitudinal, urban-non urban).
We also conduct multidisciplinary research with physicists using quantum computing applied to evolutionary biology.
